Last Saturday I hosted the first Breath Call of 2012.
You know how important I believe breath awareness is. It instantly affects our health – body, mind and spirit. And so it dramatically changes the way we feel too. And if we are feeling better, we are enjoying life more, we are more enthusiastic and energetic. We are more hopefully, inspired, postive.
All of this leads you to really experience the benefits of a deeper connection to your body through the breath. Why would you want that? Your body is an amazing communicator of deep wisdom, if we but listen. Our physical bodies are reflections of the way we feel, the emotions we believe about ourselves, the ideas and stories we decide are true about ourselves and our lives. And much more.
And, you can tap this wisdom through mindful listening. How? Through the connection of the breath. You will be amazed at what your body will share with you if you pay attention to it.
So on our call,
~we began with a short, guided meditation around finding the Organic Breath Rhythm
~we talked about some of the important reasons to Breathe more efficiently
~we practiced breathing together right on the call to feel the difference this rhythm makes in the way your body feels and responds to Breath.
